From October 22 to 24, 2019, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun visited Iran. During his stay in Iran, he met respectively with Ali Akbar Velayati, Adviser for International Affairs to the Supreme Leader of Iran; Mohammad Javad Zarif, Foreign Minister of Iran; and Ali Reza Enayati, Assistant Foreign Minister of Iran. They exchanged in-depth views on the situation in the Middle East and regional hotspot issues. H.E. Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Iran, was present at above events.
